Earlier this week it was reported by Deadline that James May will be traveling to India for a third outing of Our Man in Series for Amazon after multiple reports that might have suggested that he was going to go to the USA for his travel Series. It was also reveled that his cooking show was getting a second series too.
I have seen both series of the travel show and the cooking show and can say that they are both excellent programming. Speaking to Deadline ahead of the Our Man In Series release May had this to say at the time.
“I’ve been to India before, and it’s mesmerizing. I can’t wait to go back for series three of Our Man In…,” said May. “And for Oh Cook! fans, it’s also the perfect opportunity to perfect my daal.”
The second season of Oh Cook! will premiere on May 24, marking another stage in his journey from kitchen klutz to capable cook.
For the Our man in series May will start his journey in Mumbai before heading north through Udaipur, experiencing the Holi festival and heading to Rajasthan. He’ll then cover Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, rounding off his trip in Kolkata and the Sundarbans.
Plum Pictures makes both series. Tom Whitter directs Our Man In India and the executive producer is Will Daws.
