Greetings to the PRNDL community!

Greetings to the PRNDL community.

My name is Álvaro Martínez, you may remember me from sites like Drivetribe or Car Throttle. I am an automotive content creator living in Spain and a great car enthusiast since I was 8 years old. I have a lot to tell you so pay attention. 

First of all I want to talk to you, because it’s been a long time since I wrote my last automotive article before I went silent. The automotive world has also changed a lot since then, maybe Rally legends like the Lancer evo and the WRX STI already rest together, maybe soon you won’t be able to drive a combustion car without people looking at you like the devil’s spawn. And much less can you have one without being charged for turning the key every morning.

But I am clear that cars won’t become extinct, thousands of years ago we used horses to get ourselves around, but as soon as we started using horseless carriages… did we release all of the horses we used back to the mountains? no, some of us continued riding on their backs every weekend as a hobby. And to this day horse riding is still a nice (although expensive) hobby. 

This long period of inactivity in the automotive community has made me lose a bit of the spark that I once had within me. my tires are flat and crystallized and I am certainly covered in dust after not moving for a long time inside of my garage. But we enthusiasts are still here, and it’s time for me to once again turn the key to my heart and get going back to the road along my fellow enthusiasts.
