all new Toyota Hilux announced
with BEV and diesel hybrid powertrains
The ninth-generation Hilux pickup truck has been unveiled, with a fresh design and an electrified version.
Toyota have focused on bringing the Hilux up to date with modern technology in and out, both for off-road and on-road use. This also includes a move to all-electric power steering across the Hilux range, and the current Toyota “Safety Sense” active safety equipment.
The Diesel range starts with the Active, which comes with the aforementioned active safety features and starts at £42,845, and tops out at £54,095 with the Invincible X, which comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and a JBL sound system as standard.
The electric variants come in the Icon and Invincible trims, being around the £55,000 mark, including the £5000 electric grant.
More details are to be revealed in the following weeks, with deliveries starting in June for the BEV and the hybrid in July.
