Honda Teases 2023 HR-V for the US Market
Earlier this year, Honda revealed some sketches for the U.S.-market spec Honda HR-V. Now, it's following up with a full-fledged... teaser.

The next generation subcompact crossover will carry a distinct design compared to its European counterpart which saw a refresh last year. At least, that's what we gather from the image Honda put out today featuring one of its taillights.
Honda wouldn't comment on what sets the Euro-spec HR-V apart from the U.S.-spec, but we do know that while the European spec is only fitted with a hybrid powertrain, the U.S. market is expected to feature pure internal-combustion powertrains.
Not much is known about the HR-V's refresh, but it is expected to be a step up from the first generation model which has been on sale here in the states since 2015. Despite this, it's been a popular car. The HR-V was the brand's third most popular SUV, trailing the CR-V's 360,000 units sold, with a healthy 137,000 units sold.
The 2023 HR-V will be revealed on April 4th.
